Located on the north shore of beautiful Fox Lake, Hayes Resort offers some of the finest cottages in
Wisconsin. From vintage to deluxe, these clean, well-equipped cottages vary in size and price to suit your
needs.
The main lodge features a bar and restaurant with the best view on Fox Lake. The casual dining menu
boasts a huge selection of fresh, made-to-order sandwiches and a multitude of other delicious offerings,
including a traditional Wisconsin "Friday Night Fish Fry". On Saturday and Sunday mornings, a hearty
breakfast can be complimented by a "Big Bob's Famous Bloody Mary". The lodge also houses a game room
and souvenir shop.
The picturesque Fox Lake area is a great vacation destination. The 2,600 acre lake, ranked in Wisconsin's
top ten, is fabulous for fishing year round. Anglers of all ages have fun whether in a boat or on a pier.
Other outdoor activities include water skiing, boating, swimming, skating, snowmobiling, cross country
skiing, bird watching, hiking and biking.
We are also within 30 minutes of: eight other lakes; a dozen golf courses; the world famous Horicon marsh
and bird sanctuary; a large Amish settlement with many craftsmen and shops; Powercom raceway; farmers'
markets and much more.
Besides other communities' numerous civic events, Fox Lake's festivals include: A St. Patrick's Day
celebration and parade; The Bunny Berigan jazz festival; a 4th of July celebration with a tractor parade,
boat parade and fireworks; The Fox Lake Fun Fest; a civil war encampment and re-enactment; a medieval
fayre; the December to Remember holiday celebration and parade.
